Continuing the series of Conferences in Marburg 1993, Freiberg 1996, München 1998, Hamburg 2000, Magdeburg 2002, Karlsruhe 2004, Frankfurt 2006, Aachen 2008, and Leipzig 2010, the DMV-Fachgruppe Stochastik organizes jointly with the University of Mainz the 10th German Probability and Statistics Days 2012 - Stochastik-Tage Mainz.

Tuesday, March 6 to Friday, March 9, 2012.

 

The venue is at the University of Mainz. In the tradition of the previous conferences, this meeting provides an international forum for presentation and discussion of new results in the area of probability and statistics. The plenary speakers of the conference will be N. El Karoui (Paris), G. Lawler (Chicago), Ph. Protter (New York) and M. Taqqu (Boston). Contributed talks will be given in 14 sections devoted to specific topics; the highlight of each section will be one invited main talk. Over the last years, the biannual 'Stochastik-Tage' have been attracting also an increasing number of participants from abroad. The conference language is English.

 

Registration and abstract submission will be starting September 2011.

Participants from universities, business, administration and industry are welcome.
